OUR STORY

Our church began as a group of three young families meeting together in a home to seek God and build meaningful relationships. After few years, a house could not accommodate our growing community anymore and in 2011 we ended up launching Zachary Church.

We are a non-denominational, multi-generational, and multi-cultural church with representatives from several different Christian backgrounds, generations, and cultures. Here, at Zachary Church, we value passionate worship of our Lord Jesus, meaningful relationships, and of course we value and love people.

We love our church and we want others to experience what we have by visiting us and joining our community. Welcome!

OUR PURPOSE

We exist to do three things:

Worship Jesus – we make Jesus the center of our lives and glorify Him in everything that we do. (Luke 10:27)

Follow Jesus – we follow Jesus by becoming more like Him in everything we do: our character, speech, actions, and treatment of others. (1 John 10:27)

Lead others to Jesus – we make effort to bring everyone in our life at least one step closer to Jesus. (Matthew 28:19)

WAYS TO CONNECT

DAY CARE – for the very young ones, ages 1-5, we have a daycare, where loving and nurturing leaders will care for them and teach them Bible-based stories.

KIDS – for ages 6-10, we have Sunday school classes that are available immediately after worship and during the sermon. Your kids are welcome to come and learn about God through worship, teaching, games, and different crafts. Our Sunday school leaders will be excited to meet them and get to know them.

• 

TEENAGERS – our teens get together on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM, at the same time when adults meet for mid-week small groups. Their activities are not predictable and are spontaneous in nature. One time they interact with adult groups, other times they have their own small group studies, once in a while they go out to do sports, and sometimes they go visit other churches. Once a month on a Sunday night, our teens are involved in Youth Fusion experience, where youth from different ethnic communities gets together for worship and fellowship.

ADULTS – small groups is the place where we build meaningful relationships, seek God together, learn to apply Biblical principles to our lives, and pray for each other. We have several groups for different stages of life: Young adults, Young families, Adults and Families. Groups meet every Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Every other Wednesday groups meet at homes, and every other Wednesday they meet at church. Get in touch with one of the group leaders for current locations. Our small groups take a small break for the winter holidays, and a longer break for the summer vacations and activities.

HOW TO JOIN US

1. Connect – express your desire to connect and learn more to the pastor or one of the leaders. We will invite you over for coffee or tea and get connected. We would like to know more about you and we will answer any questions you have about our church.

2. Learn – if you decide that you like our church and would like to become part of it, we would schedule a meeting with you where we would in-depth go through our church’s mission, vision, values, doctrines, and membership requirements and expectations.

3. Join – after learning all aspects of our church and completing all necessary requirements and expectations, you will be able to become a member of Zachary Church.
